Formação de leitores e razões para leitura
Fala-se muito em “formação de leitores”. É “politicamente correto” elogiar a literatura leitura…
The Carnival in Garriga was awesome. The students could dress up in funny clothes. There were carnival songs and everyone could play with their friends and talk with each other. Garriga allowed elementary school students to come dressed up, while middle school students were only allowed to come with painted faces. However, during recess the school provided carnival accessories.
For Teens students had the great opportunity to take the Cambridge exam, a very important international test. Many of them got excellent marks. In respect for these students, the school made a ceremony to congratulate them. The Cambridge exam is made up of tests that determine an individual’s level of English. When you do the test, you receive a certification, which is valid in more than 20,000 universities, in almost every country in the world and determines candidates for scholarships and work abroad.

Garriga de Menezes has several sports:
Volleyball, swimming and handball are the most awarded ones
Garriga understands sport as a fundamental part of pedagogical work from an early age, since physical, social and psychological development are interconnected, supporting an education to conquer the world.
Our volleyball team has brought great results to Garriga, making us proud. In this sport, we have very strong teams that won many games. In this photo, the U-16 girls team won a gold medal in Liga Escolar
Garriga teams are highlighted in Handball. The students even received certificates of distinction for their performance in the matches! In Garriga, we have many students who play handball very well.
Swimming has a big and important part in the competitions. In Liga Escolar, our students always win many gold medals in different modalities.
